ELECTRICAL SHED

NOW Every Saturday between 9.30 am and 12.30, the Shed is open to receive donated second hand, functional household electrical goods, that are sold to those in need of heavily discounted essential items. With the odd luxury one too. The volunteers support one another, and many of the customers drop by to chat.

AGING WELL

We are developing a weekly activity/connection for our very senior community members. Outings for lunch and afternoon tea, short local drives for a change of scenery, our concerts and sessions for hymn singing, reminiscing and emotional and prayer support. Please contact us with further needs or suggestions.

COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT

The worship space at Newland is regularly used for Concerts, School Graduation ceremonies, conferences and lectures. We hope to include SALA and Fringe events in the near future.

Newland Hall is available for hire, and hosts Zumba fitness classes, AA meetings, and regular gatherings of the Seventh Day Adventist Worshipping Community.

Our Port Elliot space houses Pilates on Wednesday mornings, Friendship and Craft on Thursday mornings, and the new Exalt worship group on Sunday mornings at 10.30

Each week, members donate non-perishable goods to South Coast Christian Community Care, a joining together of all the Christian Churches who make food parcels available for those in need. Our annual Harvest Thanksgiving also boosts the pantry at SCTripleC.

We support our local Christian Pastoral Support Workers at the primary and high schools, with financial gifts and fundraising, and help with the Breakfast Program at Port Elliot Primary.

We are regular supporters of our local Rural Australians for Refugees.

We believe in Reconciliation between First and Second Australians, and actively seek better relationships.

COMMEMORATIONS AND CELEBRATIONS

We are experts at helping those in the community with Weddings, Baptisms, Funerals, and other pastoral services. The majestic setting at Newland, or more homely atmosphere at Port Elliot, adds significance to the important milestones in our lives. We would be happy to show you around and answer your questions.

COLLABORATIONS

We partner with the Victor Harbor City Council who have been generous towards our LAAN Programme. Further partnerships are sharing our facilities with Exalt Worship, Seventh Day Adventist Group, and engaging with other local churches, especially Adare, Yilki and St Judes.
